Università Bocconi, with the collaboration of fRDB and Fondazione Corriere della Sera, hosted the presentation of the book “Capital in the Twenty-first Century” by Thomas Piketty.

The book, a worldwide bestseller translated in more than 30 languages, investigates the long-term pattern of inequality, the concentration of wealth and the prospects for economic growth. The author analyzes a unique collection of data from twenty countries, ranging as far back as the 18th century, to uncover key economic and social patterns. The findings of the book are having a strong impact on the current economic debate about wealth and inequality.
