During the morning the following research papers will be presented:

  • Tito Boeri (Igier-Bocconi and fRDB) and Battista Severgnini (Copenhagen Business School)
    “Match Rigging and the Career Concerns of Referees”
  • Robert Simmons (Lancaster University)
    “Referee Bias and Reward Structure in Football”

Paolo Casarin (former football referee and referee selector), Roberto Beccantini (La Stampa), Fabio Monti (Corriere della Sera) and Emanuela Audisio (La Repubblica) will participate in the final panel discussion which will be moderated by Fausto Panunzi (Università Bocconi).

Note: the working language will be Italian, but simultaneous translation into English will be provided.
