Immigration: how many are really coming and what can be done

What is the real situation of migrant arrivals in Italy? What are the new routes of smugglers and traffickers? What role do NGOs and coastguards play? Is the integration of migrants into the labour market working? What can be done to ensure better management of the flows from North Africa?
