The Two Sides of Non-Compete Agreements: A Dialogue with Employers

Fondazione Ing. Rodolfo De Benedetti ETS and AIDP (Italian Association for Personnel Management) present the FRDB – AIDP Conference entitled ‘The Two Sides of Non-Compete Agreements: A Dialogue with Employers’ at Bocconi University in Milan.
The meeting aims to explore the topic of non-compete agreements, analysing their economic, legal and organisational implications. Starting from the most recent international evidence, academic perspectives and corporate points of view will be compared, with particular attention to the effects of these instruments on: labour mobility, the retention of human capital and strategies for attracting and retaining talent.
The programme includes an introductory presentation by Tito Boeri (Bocconi University, Fondazione Ing. Rodolfo Debenedetti) entitled: “Non-compete agreements: what does international evidence tell us?”, followed by a presentation by Umberto Frigelli (Occupational and Organisational Psychologist – Coordinator of the AIDP National Research Centre) dedicated to the levers of talent attraction.
The conference will conclude with a round table discussion involving representatives from the business and legal worlds, who will discuss the opportunities and critical issues surrounding non-compete agreements in an evolving labour market.
