He is currently Honorary Chairman of CIR and Cofide. From 1978 to 1996 Carlo De Benedetti was President of Olivetti, and Honorary Chairman from 1996 to 1999.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since 2006 he is President of the editorial group L\u2019Espresso. He is currently member of the Reuters Institute Advisory Board (Oxford) and of other international institutions. He is President of the Foundation Together To Go (TOG), that he founded in 2011 to help the rehabilitation of children suffering from neurological disorders. He is Honorary President of Make in Italy \u2013 CDB Foundation (created in 2014), a non-profit organization for the development of innovation and the support to growth of the Italian FatLabs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He was awarded with the title of Cavaliere del Lavoro in 1983, he received the French L\u00e9gion d\u2019Honneur in 1987, the Silver Medal of Merit of the Republic of Austria in 2006 and the title of Commandeur de la L\u00e9gion d&#8217;Honneur in 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>In 1998 he created the Fondazione Ing. He was Centennial Professor at the London School of Economics, where he is currently Senior Visiting Professor. From March 2015 to February 2019 he was President of the Italian Social Security administration (Inps).\u00a0His field of research is labour economics, redistributive policies and political economics.\u00a0He is Scientific Advisor of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.frdb.org\/\">Fondazione Ing. RODOLFO DEBENEDETTI ETS<\/a>, where he acted as Scientific Director since its inception in 1998 to 2015.<br \/>\nHe is research fellow at CEPR, CEP-LSE, IZA, Netspar and Igier-Bocconi. Before becoming president of INPS, he was\u00a0columnist for La Repubblica and collaborated with some foreign newspapers such as\u00a0Financial Times and\u00a0Le Monde.\u00a0He is the founder of the economic policy watchdog website\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lavoce.info\/\">www.lavoce.info<\/a>, in the editorial board of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/voxeu.org\/\">www.voxeu.org<\/a>, and the Scientific Director of the Festival of Economics in Trento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After obtaining his Ph.D. in Economics from New York University, Tito Boeri was senior economist at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) from 1987 to 1996. He currently holds an ERC Consolidator Grant for the project &#8220;Clean Evidence on Dirty Deeds&#8221;. Before moving to Milan, Pinotti obtained a Ph.D. from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2009, and worked at the Research Department of the Bank of Italy between 2007 and 2011.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_CDt4Ke x_zfr3Q x_ContentPasted0\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">His research has been published in leading scientific journals, including the <em class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">American Economic Review, Econometrica<\/em>,\u00a0<em class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">Review of Economic Studies, Economic Journal<\/em>,<em class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">\u00a0Journal of European Economic Association<\/em>,\u00a0<em class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">Review of Economics and Statistics<\/em>, and\u00a0<em class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">American Economic Journal: Applied Economics<\/em>. His thesis, supervised by Alessandra Casarico, examines how horizontal gender segregation shapes the effects of parental leave reform on women&#8217;s wages, showing that greater exposure to leave flexibility may translate into a wage penalty in female-dominated firms.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"374\">Previously, he worked at the European Commission (Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion \u2014 DG EMPL), focusing on labour market dynamics and public employment services in Europe.
