The Fourth Brussels Economic Forum was held on the 10th and 11th of April 2003 at the European Commission.

Four sessions were discussed:

• The Economic Outlook and the Broad Economic Policy Guidelines;
• Globalisation;
• The Convention (Economic Aspects);
• The Economic Implications of Ageing.

Professor Tito Boeri dealt with the labour market implications of ageing (fourth session).
