The Fondazione Ing. Rodolfo Debenedetti has recently updated and reorganized time series data on Italian population, employment, unemployment and labour force by sex and macro-area (North, Centre and South Italy). Data come from several Istat publications on Italian Labour Forces (hardcopy and internet sources) and have been reorganized by the fRDB staff in order to make them easily available to other researchers.Available variables over the period 1959-2013:

  • Population, by sex and macroarea (North, Centre and South Italy)
  • Participation rate
  • Unemplyment rate
  • Employment rate
  • Labour Force, by sex and macroarea (North, Centre and South Italy)
  • Employed, by sex and macroarea (North, Centre and South Italy)
  • Unemployed, by sex and macroarea (North, Centre and South Italy)
